Visiting Ghanaian Local Government Officials with Addingham Parish Councillors July 1961. Mrs Ellen Lumley is in the Chair (she lived at Syke House Farm). On her left is Jimmy Hadley (petrol station), top of head is Jack Dixon(?), then Laurence Cresswell of Moor Lane, Leslie Adams (full face), George (?) Whitham (grocer), Billy Brear, Jim Watson and an unknown man with goatee. Note the spindle backed chairs which were made by Brears at the Sawmill Addingham.
