Newspaper report on Bill Bradley's loom modification, the 'Kinetic Brake', to ensure constant tension which won him the Gold Medal, presented to him in 1937, under the auspices of the will of William Hoffman Wood in 1933. See also images 2041 and 2042. Pictured are (L to R) Bil Bradley, Ald. E J Clarke (Hoffman-Wood Trustee), Capt. G Drury-Colema (Institute of Patentees) and the Lord Mayor of Leeds (John Badley?) after the presentation of the award.
