Layout of basement (known as 'Low Oile') showing power system of a water wheel in a pit with a culvert to take away the water. The water wheel probably drove the line shaft shown towards the top of the diagram which in turn would have powered machinery and equipment on the ground and first floors. As in 1950s. Drawn by Don Barrett based on information from Andrew Watson.
